Overview

Situated in the high pine forests of Naltar Valley roughly two hours north of Gilgit city Naltar Ski Resort is the oldest and premier official winter sports facility in Pakistan. Managed by the Pakistan Air Force PAF the resort features high altitude ski slopes equipped with modern chairlifts snowmaking equipment and professional training facilities. Sitting at an elevation of over 2900 meters the resort hosts annual national and international skiing competitions including the Karakoram Ski Championship during the peak winter months from December to February.
