Surrounded by towering Karakoram cliffs fruit orchards clear glacial streams and rustic wooden houses Nangsoq offers an authentic glimpse into traditional Balti mountain lifestyle. Famous for welcoming Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla during their royal visit to Pakistan in 2006 the village is reached via a scenic hike along the river bank or a short boat ride across the Indus River.
