Overview

Standing proudly at a soaring elevation of 2992 meters above sea level in Abbottabad District Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Miranjani Peak is the highest mountain summit in the entire Galyat region. Surrounded by protected sub-alpine pine forests oak groves and deodar reserves Miranjani is widely regarded as one of Northern Pakistans finest day trekking adventures. Accessible via a scenic 4.5 km hiking trail starting near the historic Governor House in Nathia Gali or Namli Maira village the trail winds along high forest ridges before opening onto a lush summit crest. From the top trekkers enjoy breathtaking 360 degree panoramic views over the Hazara hills Jhelum River Valley Azad Kashmir mountains and on clear days the distant snow capped peak of Nanga Parbat.
