Local Transportation

Accessible via 4x4 jeep from Thal / Upper Dir to Takht-e-Sulaiman or Jaki, followed by a 3 to 4 hour trek to Jahaz Banda, and an additional 2 to 3 hour steep trek to Katora Lake.

Wooden tourist huts, local guest rooms, and wilderness campsites available at Jahaz Banda meadow base camp (no commercial hotels at the lake itself).
